Teapa

Coconá Caves Natural Monument

Río Puyacatengo
It is one of the 3 largest rivers in the municipality of Teapa. Tacotalpa

Parque Estatal de la Sierra
It is a Natural Protected Area in the municipalities of Teapa and Tacotalpa, there are mountains with 1,000 meters high, rivers, unexplored caves, waterfalls and springs. The predominant vegetation consists of forests, where species like parrots, curassow, monkeys and ocelots, among others. The park is an excellent place for exploring caves, climbing, hiking in the woods, observing nature and rafting. Besides the cliffs are ideal for abseiling.
Tapijulapa
A 90 kms de Villahermosa is located one of the most picturesque villages of the state whose narrow cobbled streets invite you to admire the traditional white houses with red tiles. Located on the banks of two rivers in beautiful shades: Oxolotan and Amethyst. In this legendary town's artisans make wooden crafts and wicker. Has a century temple honoring Saint James, the attraction of this temple is that it is built on top of a hill, where you can admire the beautiful scenery of lush vegetation and mountain valleys.
Villaluz and Tomás Garrido Canabal House-Museum.
Just 3 kms. of Tapijulapa, this place is mystical, magical Zoques with beautiful waterfalls, spa sulphurous waters, caves and lush vegetation, Villa Luz has camping areas and there are trails through the forest for ecotourism trips. You can also take a stroll along the River Oxolotan. Local boatmen will lead you along the river to the confluence with the Amato. Blind Sardines Cave
Within the Protected Natural Area State Park in the Sierra, in the Villa Luz, Tacotalpa, is this particular cave is of great interest to geologists and biologists for having one of the most unique micro-ecosystems on the planet, comprising by several species living in total darkness from which protrudes a kind of sardine. In this place takes place during Holy Week, one of the most important cultural manifestations of the entity, the traditional pre-Hispanic dance: “Pesca de la Sardina ciega”.

Located six km. From Tapijulapa, these caves are suitable for caving. They are lit and you have to carry equipment and a trained guide.

El Jardín de Dios

Oxolotán Ex Convent and De la Sierra Museum

Agua Blanca Park
It is located in the ejido las Palomas, 7 km in a deviation from the Villahermosa road Macuspana. It is a Natural Protected Area with 2.025 hectares of rainforest, flora and fauna. There are beautiful waterfalls that flow with great force from a cave, sliding down the rocks, forming natural pools that invite a refreshing bath, ideal to live with the exuberant nature. On the way up will reach the Caves of Ixtapa-Ja' (Agua Blanca), with caves (level 1-3) in impressive dimension, within which there are trails with light, ideal for caving, abseiling and guided tours of the jungle. Jalapa
Located 40 minutes from the capital Villahermosa. This town stands out among other things, the production of traditional cakes. It has a beautiful boardwalk to whose right bank of the river lies the Sierra.
